Review: The Upper Crust Pizzeria

Finally, I managed to visit The Upper Crust Pizzeria, I have been wanting to go there since I can’t remember when but was always too lazy to take the long road there, I went there only to find out that they are less than 10 minutes away from where I live, does that mean I will have my breakfasts at the village every weekend?
There is a big chance for that to happen, this is not how I pictured the village, I thought of a real village and the idea grew on me since the thoughts were only piling up but it is a nice secluded cozy place indeed, to the food now, to the salads and to the great pizzas.

Feta & Strawberry
This simple delicious salad consists of feta cheese, rocket leafs, strawberries, pine-nuts & either thicker than usual balsamic or molasses

Garden Salad
Feels like home, simple green salad, lettuce, cucumber, onions, tomato, carrots & lemon with vinaigrette, very refreshing and a good start

Buffalo Wings
Those buffalo wings were cooked to perfection, very crispy from the outside yet soft and well cooked from the inside, no soft skin no burns, I recommend this dish, delicious
This is one of the highest selling pizzas as informed by the server, it is like the meat lovers type of pizza, needless to say, the dough is very thin and soft crisps all over, delicious and recommended

Bubs BBQ Chicken
The other side of the large pizza, among the 4 different types we ordered, this one is my favorite, very rich in flavor and for a change, no tomato sauce on the dough, delicious

Large Pizza
This is the large pizza that had half of BBQ chicken & half of meat lovers

The Mass General Hospital
Does the name buzz in your head after reading it, this is what happened to me, and I was right in guessing that it must be something healthy, something more like hospital food, healthy with, less salt, less sugar and less everything that is not colorful, well, my family did not enjoy that one but when thinking about a healthy option, I did, and I had a slice as it is and another one with Tabasco & salt, I really believe that this is pizza in authentic form, the dough topped with some fresh ingredients.

The Fenway
The Fenway is supposedly a sausage pizza, unfortunately I could hardly taste any sausage, not saying it was bad but if it says sausage then I must taste sausage, I tried once & twice, no luck, more sausage people ;)

The Village
A view to the village, or part of it, nice place, now about the review, my 1st visits are never conclusive, I usually build a stronger opinion on the 2nd visit and since I consider going for a second visit it only means the first visit was very much satisfying, don’t miss it guys, too bad the outdoor seating will be almost useless in the summer since it is a closed area surrounded by structure from one end and a main street from the other
All in all?
Ambiance: Very Good, very white, very neat
Food: Great
Service: Very good
Value for money: Great for pizzas, acceptable to good for other items on the menu
Would I visit it again: definitely yes

only 10 minutes I thought it was really far hehehe but the pizzas look great …gotta give it a try :)
