Brunch review at Prime & Toast

Early noon glory at prime & toast, a unique concept or as I tell my wife, the place that makes omelets in 20 different ways, crowded with gossip (ladies for the most) I enjoyed the food even though it was a bit inconsistent & the service was slow this time as we ordered 2 egg Florentine & received only 1, the other can more than 10 minutes later, otherwise it is all good.

Florentine Benedict - Spinach
This was my wife’s choice, seems she only orders that dish when ever we dine at P&T, Egg Benedict on brown bread, hollandaise sauce and a deliciously pan fried tomato on the side, full spinach leafs. filling.

Beef Bacon
Beef Bacon on the side makes my day, even though it doesn’t spell healthy in anyway but it is certainly delicious

Farmer Style Omelet
My choice, not the first time I order this but this time it didn’t have the 2 slices of toast, no big deal, I am just pointing out the inconsistency in presentation, anyway, the inside of it is rich, has lots n lots of vegetables (zucchini, onion, bell pepper…etc), it is extremely delicious and I really recommend it.

Sunny Side Up - Thai Style
Another order of mine, this has the taste of spice in it hence Thai style, friend basil on the rounds, delicious infusion

Pan Cakes & Orange Juice
The nanny’s order, she felt like having something sweet & soft, we ordered the same, ordinary pancakes but I just love maple syrup
All in all?
Ambiance: Good & Cozy
Food: Great
Service: Slow
Value for money: Mid to high
Would I visit it again: Yes

I understand this blog is mainly about reviewing the places you brunch, lunch and/or dine, which you seem to do really well (the reviews), unfortunately for me, i’ll never get to experience those so inviting places myself :-(
I must also add that most of your pictures have given me inspirations for my various cooking, but without a recipe to go with the pictures, it helps to have a wide and very creative imagination :-)
Having a son who loves eggs, i’m looking for something i havent yet prepared for him, and the “sunny side up” and the “florentine bennedict” both seem to be a perfect choice. Now, are there any tips or a quick “how-to-do” that you would like to share? I couldnt find a recipe for both here.
A quick suggestion: i got here through the link added to the “sunny side up” picture on FB, but it took me ages to browse through previous blogs to find this. I think it would be easier to add a link on each pictures that takes a visitor directly to what he/se wants to see. Or was it on purpose :-P
About the 2nd part, you are absolutely right! I am sorry that u got caught up in one of the rare cases where I don’t add a direct link to the post, I promise it won’t happen again :-D
even though it did seem a good idea to know and see that u have browsed many of my posts! ;)
as for the 1st part, I will be digging for 2 good easy-to-do recipes and post them, for my lovely friend and fan! :)
