New Breakfast Menu @ Pizzetta

Couple of days ago I was invited to Pizzetta to their new location at AlBidaa’ introducing their new breakfast menu, I was among the privileged ones to have a head start, since I have arrived the same day but earlier from Malaysia, I was dozed off but then again why miss a chance on food since they are located close to where I live anyway, now then out of courtesy I wouldn’t want to review, main topic here will be highlighting what I had in terms of food & relevant dining experience, food is not bad so readers should take the “no review” that I have something bad to say and I won’t just because they invited me, you all also know well that I express my likes & dislikes and in many cases what I like you wouldn’t like and the other way around, one suggestion to them though, describing the food by ingredients and adding photos to the menu would be a plus point, I’ll get to the photos with more details now. I also participated in their Galaxy SIII photography competition and I lost to the electronic draw, I think it is a sign telling me never use a smart phone for food photography.

Since I was the first to join and first to leave, I sat on my own, wrapping it up quickly to catch some sleep, on my right you see the long table, this is the bloggers gathering table, this is the upper floor and where the kitchen is

Nothing beats a fresh orange juice in the early morning, figure of speech, surely for many it is coffee for others it is tea and so on, on a serious note, nothing beats fruits as the 1st meal in the morning, when it comes to nutritional value and vitamins that is

Baked eggs with truffles, spinach & asparagus

This is the most expensive baked eggs they had on the menu which is not really expensive, priced at 3.750KWD, would have been less if it wasn’t for the truffles I assume, I couldn’t properly figure out the taste though, I would have to try it next time with no rush and then it may be a proper review with praise or simple constructive criticism

Same dish flipped over at home, I had it to go but my wife just ate it and left me without a second bite to taste, my first bite was at the restaurant

I am no ingredient expert, unfortunately, but I wish & try to be when ever possible, from what I know Fontina is a type of cheese, does it mean that it is baked with cheese, this would be even more interesting, I will find out later, this weekend maybe for breakfast since my wife enjoyed the photos and thought it is a good breakfast option with a good location

A brief, “Centered around flavorful, rustic pizzas with a proprietary grilled crust, this new venue offers a diverse pallet of pizza creations that are at once light and crispy, yet packed with the true taste of the Italian country-side.” Pizzetta is in Al Seef Strip opposite of the palace, Mahboula spoons and now in AlBidaa, they serve over 20 breakfast/ brunch items, get more details from their FB Page
